CAT ELIGIBILITY
The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in the case of candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PwD) categories], awarded by any University or educational institution as incorporated by an
Act of Parliament or State legislature in India or declared to be deemed as an University under Section
3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognised by the Ministry of HRD,
Government of India.

CAT VARC Important Topic 2024-25
There are twenty-four questions come from the Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC) section. Out of which, five are not multiple-choice questions and have no negative marking. However, rest questions have a negative marking scheme.
There are 14-16 reading comprehension passages questions are expected to come in the VARC section, 1-2 questions about inferences, statements, and arguments, One or two synonyms and antonyms and three to four questions from the Para Summary topic are expected this year.

CAT VARC Previous Year Paper Analysis
As per the Last year CAT VARC Paper Analysis, the exam was of moderate difficulty with a few tricky questions. The question paper in each of the 3 slots had 19 MCQs and 5 TITA-type questions. RC had the highest weightage with 16 questions in each slot.
